Tonight Im going to a school reunion,  Im expecting to recognize pretty much noone, cos I never do.  Its really quite embarrassing.  People will introduce me to someone and go 'you remember such and such' and I think 'no' but then make vague 'possibly' noises. It doesnt really matter cos theres a few of us going that I definitely will recognize,  and we're sneaking our mate in cos were fairly sure everyone else will be pretending to remember who people are too. 

 

Im expecting alot of this (which actually did make me laugh quite alot cos Id forgotten half of the songs and the fashion was a tad out there)....

 

 

 

 

 

My mother has a saying for every occassion,  in fact so many Im sure she's made half of em up.  I was just thinking about sayings and what they really mean.

managed to watch this without blubbing.  And seeing as how I love it so much thought Id have another wack at putting it to music cos I didnt really like the first vid I made for it. Cant understand why it took me so long to work out Mercutio is gay though! ;O)

 

 

 

 I wonder if you can get vibration white finger from typing on a desk thats shaking cos the bass on your media player is so loud? Been playing on Audacity again,  which is a wonderful remixing toy (and free to download if anyone's interested).  The result of today's effort currently on media player,  although it's only really slightly tweaked cos the original was really rather good (and if its not your cuppa tea you know where the Esc key is ;O)

 

Not sleeping again,  so although the temptation at five this morning was to type a thoroughly nonsensical blog,  instead I chucked this little slide show of Jack Vettriano pics onto Youtube,  cos I love his paintings.

 

 

 

  

 

Anyway,  its a gloriously sunny day today and the temptation is too much.  Im off out!

 

Yesterday we pur chased a new printer for the boychild to print out his homework on,  as Vista in it's infinite window decided it really didnt like the one we had, and the school in its infinite wisdom has decided last year they spent far too much on printing so theyre never doing it again no not ever. I do wonder what the money in that school goes on. Im thinking scratch cards.  But anyway,  technology being what it is, its not just a printer it also scans and copies and all that gubbins, and I suspect if I could only find the right bit in the instructions it would make me a cuppa tea.

Im sorry but Im ill.  I sat down at 10 oclock and has only just woken up .  Ive got a nasty cough.

 

Ive been roped into helping setup a party for one of my cousins.

 

My best mates just been dumped so I need to go round with some chocolate.

 

Ive just getten up and am bad with the drink.

 

Having trouble with a job application.

Ive been asked to baby sit next doors kid for the day while they take the dog to the vet.

 

One of my mates has asked me to go with her to get her lip pierced to hold her hand.

 

My mam has told me that I have to go to Newcastle to buy supplies for college (notebooks and that ) I dont know how long Ill be so can I text you later in the week when I have my time table to arrange a new day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last night went to see a bunch of aging rockers in a glam rock band called something along the lines of Glam or Glams or something.... Shows how good they were if I cant even remember the name.  They were pretty damn awful and at one point told the people at the back (that would have been us) to stop talking. LMAO. Was a really canny night (apart from the odd annoyance) but God, dont pubs smell horrible?

 

 

 

 So yeah yesterday morning my mam tried to give me a ring and I didnt make it on time cos I was trying a wig on.  Which has to be one of the most random and best reasons Ive ever given for not picking up. Reason being it arrived in the post  and I was dying to see if it created the effect I wanted.  Yeah I know... I get bizarrely excited about dressing up for Halloween, but to be fair the party Im goin to is on the 16th of October which is really early and.... Im just making excuses cos  I really love getting dressed up and my wigs miiiiiiint!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last night my fave pub closed its doors for the last time.  Spent 25 years rocking my socks off there on a Monday night,  met so many people made so many mates.  So I was thinking about this and even if I missed a couple of years worth of Monday nights it still means Ive got shit faced in there about 1200 times.  Actually thinking about it,  if my livers screwed that place has a lot to answer for with its cheap beer.

 

Anyway Ive been wracking my brains thinking of a song to blog  to mark the end of an era in my life.

 

This one reminds me of back to back air guitaring,  bad perms and generally messing about on the dance floor more than anything else I came up with.....

So theres a man coming to my house today to do some worky type stuff.  Im feeling a bit peevish,  cos after saying he couldnt possibly fit me in any later than Thursday lunchtime, hes not here. Ive pretty much had enough of men that come to do stuff this week.  Had one the other day to service my fire,  and not only was he the spitting image of Jeff Goldblum (unnerving in itsself cos I always think of him spitting acid on that fellas arm in the Fly and melting it) but he seemed to think I only deserved my fire servicing if I understood exactly how it worked and what he was doing. So Im desperately trying to look intelligent while hanging on to a struggling dog. The actual thought in my head was 'if I let her go she will pee on his dustsheet' so I learnt nothing.

 

I was just loading a song onto File Den and the advert on the page was two pictures. Fat lass and skinny lass.  'SHE DROPPED 5 LBS IN ONE WEEK' There seems to be a spate of these all over the place.  Just how stupid do they think we are? The woman on picture one was so obviously not the woman on picture two.  Theres a reason they always cut their heads off on these pics,  but youd think theyd photo shop things like moles off.  Id be more inclined to believe it if they said 'THIS WOMAN DROPPED 5LBS,  GREW TWO INCHES,  AND HAD SEVERAL MOLES REMOVED IN ONE WEEK.
